The Newmarket Citizens Band (NCB) is committed to the community band concept, providing an opportunity for community musicians of all levels of experience to make music and improve their skills in a supportive and relaxed atmosphere.

The NCB welcomes anyone teenaged and older who can read music and play a band instrument. There are no auditions or waiting lists. We play sit-down concerts and march in parades.

Although Newmarket is our home base, we have members are from all over York Region and surrounding areas. So joining the NCB is easy - just show up at a rehearsal!

Rehearsal Information
We rehearse every Tuesday night (8 p.m. SHARP) at Sir William Mulock Seconday School located at 705 Colombus Way, just south-west of Yonge and Mulock, in the South-West end of Newmarket.
